Wire Wrapped Stones and Shells

Shell jewelry and stone jewelry are nature’s unique beauty in jewelry designs. Truly beautiful in themselves, these stones and shells become part of a one of a kind unique piece of jewelry that is typically made into a pendant. The hand made settings are done in a technique called custom wire wrapping where sterling silver or 14 Kt. gold-filled wire is twisted and curved to hold the shell or stone. This technique yields a one of a kind piece of jewelry from nature with a stylized flair in how the wire is transformed individually into a frame for that particular item to enhance it’s natural beauty. Some pieces are enhanced with pearls of various colors or semi-precious beads. Other pieces are strung with matching fresh water pearls as well. Thereby creating a one of a kind piece of wearable art.
